College Credits at Illustration Academy

Bethany College Applied Arts program  is now offering up to 12 hours of transferable credit for attending The Illustration Academy. 

Each course offers 3 credit hours with  three, 3-hr sessions (9 hrs) of instruction per week, allowing for 45 hours of course instruction.

Up to 12 hours of transferrable credit are available. • Each class is accredited through Bethany College.
• Tuition is $1635.00 per three hour class.
• $545.00 per credit hour
• Credits are transferable.
• Students must attend the full 5-weeks of workshops to obtain credit.
• Students can take a maximum of 12 credits. Do not purchase more than 4 classes.
• Tuition for class credits is paid to Bethany College.
• Workshop tuition fee is paid to Illustration Academy.

About The Illustration Academy

The immersive, in-person workshop is five-weeks long, June 13-July 15, 2016. The Academy instructors are some of the top working professional in the industry, providing students with a unique opportunity for portfolio and career development as well as industry contacts.

Each day is full of studio time, presentations, demonstrations, drawing time, and research time. The session will have figure drawing with live models three nights a week. Other evening hours include faculty demos and networking. Career skills including self-promotion, advertising, contracts, taxes and accounting are also taught.
