AA 200 Visual Narrative

The development of visual narrative demands artistry, competence, and dexterity to create compelling characters and develop events. Coherent, comprehensible, and emotionally-driven images will breath life into a story. Students will study, adopt, and apply these practices construct complex characters and plots. The Visual Narrative course will also highlight the contrast between a number of media types including Illustrated novels, comic books, graphic novels, and storyboards. The foundations of visual storytelling will be consistently underlined as a critical discipline to examine, practice and apply.
