AA 204 Digital & Traditional Painting

From this course, students will gain an understanding of advanced color. This in-depth course features informative presentations and live demonstrations by accomplished artists. Throughout this course, students will gain a better understanding of a variety of digital media with a focus on using the commonly used professional tools of the industry including Corel Painter and Adobe Photoshop. Additional tools like Alchemy, and Z-Brush will also be introduced. The course prepares digital painters with a full range of experiences necessary to support students and advance their abilities. Students will view demonstrations, presentations and receive individualized feedback on their work. Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to identify the important characteristics their own work enabling them to strengthen their ability to create cohesive, unified images with digital media. This course cultivates the artist's ability to create artwork with improved production times.
